Their singular and shared experiences about their home and foreign countries are connected in a pastiche-like fashion in an apartment that can be accessed interactively. As such, the viewer may roam freely and symphatize with the experience of returning to one’s home.
The space of Heimkommen aus der Heimat was created both in analogue and digital processes and filled with items that are deeply intertwined with a common cultural memory.
